The script — word for word
If you freeze in the room, read these.
Opening statement
I've failed doxycycline, extended antibiotics, and herbals across multiple Lyme doctors. My symptoms — depression, skin changes, fatigue — match the Bartonella profile, and standard testing misses 30–40% of cases. I'd like to do specialty co-infection testing through IGeneX or Galaxy before any more antibiotic trials.
If they push back on testing
I'm not asking you to treat. I'm asking you to test. If it's negative, I'll drop it.
If they say "Lyme is controversial"
I understand there's debate about chronic Lyme. I'm not asking about chronic Lyme — I'm asking about Bartonella, which is a well-documented infection with clear treatment protocols. Can we at least test for that?
If they only want standard labs
Standard IFA serology has poor sensitivity for Bartonella. I'd like to use IGeneX ImmunoBlot or Galaxy Diagnostics enriched PCR, which are roughly 10× more sensitive. I can order the kit myself if you'll sign the requisition.
